Peace Zone is pleased to announce it received funding from the Indiana Arts Commission for the second year in a row. Last year PZ received funding to offer a series of art classes open to peers in the community struggling with mental health issues age 18 and above. This year, PZ received funding to offer an ongoing painting support group for anyone who took an art class with PZ during the previous year. The group will meet a total of 20 times and will have the opportunity to display their artwork in various locations, including the Evansville Vanderburgh Public Library, Barnes & Noble, and the Art of Recovery fine art show in the fall of 2016.
Thank you to our grantors/sponsors who are making this project possible!
