Peace Zone, founded in 2012, is a peer-run recovery center for individuals 18+ who are struggling with mental health and/or addiction issues.
Peace Zone is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides valuable programs and recovery tools including mental health support groups, peer support services or peer mentoring, peer-led art instruction, poetry, journaling & other wellness groups (WRAP), as well as hospital outreach and community education forums that are free and open the public. Other benefits include an indoor walking track and gym with basketball courts, computer lab, pool table, musical instruments like piano, guitars and lap harps, a mental health/recovery library, games, crafts, Wii and television.
Since inception, we have been dedicated to improving the lives of those we serve and spreading the message of hope and empowering and supporting individuals in their daily journey towards recovery.
Peace Zone’s mission is to promote mental health wellness and recovery and to educate the community about mental health issues.
